McCall Farms was established in 1954 with a 2,000 acre farm in Effingham, SC. Since that time, McCall Farms has built a flourishing canning and freezing operation, acquiring a number of national brands including Margaret Holmes, Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts, Glory Foods, Bruce’s Yams, Wagon Master, Allens, and Popeye. McCall Farms today employs over 1,000 people in its 1.1 million square foot manufacturing facility.
