Our products are helping home and foodservice users to make delicious, easy, approachable meals at home or in the restaurant and maybe have some fun while they are at it ! Helping the Home Chef, the Foodservice Chef create delicious and healthy meals consistently is our goal and enjoyment. Everything we sell begins as an assortment of fresh ingredients and fragrant spices on a kitchen counter in Austin, TX. That’s where our executive chef and longtime friend, Paula Disbrowe whisks and simmers the earliest incarnations of each product.
Some, like The Usual, are conceived on a whim as Paula snips herbs from her garden, crumbles dried chiles, and brings the idea to life. On other occasions, we collaborate on a specific cut we all love (“We need a killer Pork Rub!”) and it manifests itself similarly, always starting with carefully chosen ingredients and a home cook’s recipe.
We never repackage off the shelf spice or sauce blends, because that’s not our style.
